Electronic Warfare Specialist
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the 616th Operations Center Information Warfare (IW) Division, which is the operational element to plan, manage, execute, assess, and achieve IW- Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) / electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) superiority
- Serve as EW operational analyst for the 616th OC/IW Division
- Deliver subject matter expertise on EW analysis, enabling the planning and execution of IW capabilities Support the integration of EW through the IW activities into planning as they pertain to support to 16 AF deployed and non-deployed assets
- Support the development, execution, and oversight of EW, (electromagnetic attack (EA), electromagnetic protection (EP), electromagnetic support (ES)) of EMSO processes into 16 AF plans and operations
- Provide protection plans to ensure friendly access to the EW/EMS, develop plans to attack adverse use of the EW/EMS, coordinate operating authority and analyze EW operations
- Provide EW platform analytic support as directed by 16AF as part of designated contingency, exercise, and wartime missions
- Interface with higher headquarters, subordinate organizations, and external organizations in support of Air Force EMSO for IW/EW operational plans to provide guidance for units supporting contingency, exercise, and wartime missions
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years' of relevant EW operational experience
- Experience with Joint functions at the operational, strategic, or national level; operational level electromagnetic spectrum analytical expertise
- Technical expertise to understand and resolve EW, (electromagnetic attack (EA), electromagnetic protection (EP), electromagnetic support (ES))
- DoD operational platform rated EW course or Electronic Countermeasures Officer (ECMO)
- Clearance: TS/SCI clearance is required
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- EW support from JFC fusion centers, major command (MAJCOM) staffs, theater intelligence agencies, national intelligence agencies, and coalition EW sources
- Understanding of Air Force Electronic Warfare operational doctrine; Rules of engagement for EW air component forces; and EW development requirements for ATO and airspace control order (ACO)
- Experience with A Major or Combatant Command and Joint Electromagnetic Warfare Doctrine
- Understanding of JP 3-85, Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, CJCSI 3320.01 series, and Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
