It is a CPG / beverage / dietary supplement company with a history of strong profitable growth as the number one product and brand in its emerging category. Through its expanding sales and distribution network, they are building a team to take current and new products to the global market and achieve exponential growth. With the leadership team formed, the opportunity is now to define and refine the cross functional integrated strategy and lead the team to grow revenue 10x-100x, enabling a highly lucrative exit.THE ROLEWe are looking for a dynamic and visionary Vice President of Brand and Experience with multi-brand and multi-channel experience to lead our efforts in driving growth and profitability across our portfolio. The person in this role wakes up thinking about the company’s brand recognition, market presence, and customer engagement and through effective marketing plans and initiatives drives a higher brand awareness.This role will function as the right hand of the Chief Marketing Officer and be responsible for shaping and overseeing the holistic perception and interaction that consumers have with our brands. They will play a pivotal role in crafting a consistent and compelling brand narrative by orchestrating all touchpoints, from advertising campaigns and event strategy to product design and customer experience.Our ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in brand strategy, demonstrated through a proven track record of developing and informing brand strategy for disruptive CPG brands, preferably within a highly regulated category.WHO YOU ARE• Big Brand Mastermind: You're a proven "Big Brand" builder, with a successful track record of launching and scaling brands within the CPG landscape, specifically in highly regulated categories. You understand the unique challenges of disrupting established categories and have a knack for identifying white space opportunities.• CPG Whisperer: You possess a deep understanding of the CPG industry, from product development and manufacturing to retail landscape and consumer behavior. You can translate this knowledge into actionable marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences across channels.• Left and Right Brain Balanced: You are skilled at balancing left and right brain dominance. You use analytical thinking and data-driven metrics to inspire creativity to execute marketing strategies that drive profitability.• Challenge Seeker: You view challenges as an opportunity for growth. Obstacles are not just something you attempt to overcome, they are something you embrace. You open up new areas of thought, research, development and action to meet challenges head on.• Disruptor - You are fearless in challenging the status quo, always ready to zig when others zag. You thrive on innovation and are not afraid to try new things, leading the way in breaking molds and showing people how to think and act differently.RESPONSIBILITIES• Partner with creative to define and evolve the company’s brand identity, including messaging frameworks and standards across our channels; to elevate our brand story and messaging, delivering an increased ROI across all media touchpoints• Bring our brand to life by designing, planning and executing remarkable consumer experiences that captivate audiences through unique and disruptively positioned consumer events that drive brand affinity and connection• Develop and execute a multifaceted media strategy across paid, owned, and earned platforms to elevate the brand and drive awareness, trial and equity• Build and execute a best-in-class PR and communications strategy for both the company and our brands by developing multi-disciplinary communications strategies to enhance our connection with our consumers, the trade and key media contacts.• Curate strategic partnerships that elevate our brand and further our mission statement and marketing efforts• Collaborate closely with our internal digital marketing, creative, sales and product teams to ensure alignment and integration of brand messaging and initiatives.• Manage external vendors and agencies, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and budget requirements.• Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to create and deliver goals, action items, and KPIs, including managing against revenue and profit targets while cultivating an inclusive and collaborative environment.• Drive the team to keep themselves abreast of industry trends. Continuously think of new and out-of-the-box ways to improve our brand strategies to drive business results.• Research and implement new techniques and technologies that help drive brand marketing, communications, and experience.REQUIREMENTS• 10+ years of progressive brand management experience within a CPG environment. Strong preference for experience in regulated industries: cannabis, alcohol, pharmaceutical or dietary supplements.• Proven track record of creating, executing, and measuring best-in-class marketing plans that drive brand growth and consumer engagement.• A passion for brand-building and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and the role insights play in the development of strategy• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and market research to inform branding decisions.• Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and branding aesthetics.• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.• Early adopter of AI and efficiency tools across marketing platforms to capitalize on trends and speed-to-market opportunities• Exceptional project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.• University, Bachelor’s, or MBA degree in a Business oriented field with a major in Marketing or a related business discipline; superior financial acumen, and problem-solving skills is requiredCompensation• In this role you will significantly contribute to the success of all businesses in our portfolio and will be rewarded commensurately. We provide an aggressive base salary, with lucrative profit sharing and options across all businesses in our group. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this roll.
