Position Description:

The B132 Multiproduct Process team is responsible for CR5 Reversed Phase operations in B132 and peptide operations in B132B. Operations in this area will be campaigned between BHI Reversed Phase and TZP and other potential peptide molecules. The Multiproduct Operations Associate is responsible to provide operational support to the Multiproduct team, coordinate activities related to changeover between BHI and TZP and other molecules, drive safe and efficient changeovers between products, and maximize overall uptime of the Reversed Phase equipment in B132. This position will report directly to the B132 Operations Director.

Responsibilities:


Changeover Coordination:

  • Responsible for overall changeover activities in CR5 and B132B – create and drive an integrated project plan for all changeover activities.
  • Integrate safety into all aspects of changeover, drive safe execution of non-routine activities.
  • Work closely with the Flow Team to coordinate necessary resources to support changeover activities.
  • Work closely with Maintenance and Plant Engineering Leadership to coordinate necessary utilities and maintenance activities during changeover.
  • Lead the generation and approval of key documentation including protocols, change controls, and SOPs.
  • Lead changeover-related governance meetings including daily work planning meetings and the Changeover Steering Team.
  • Develop a cadence of communication updates to B132 Flow Team, TZP Steering Team, and Site Leadership to clearly update on changeover progress, escalations, and risks.

Changeover Strategy:

  • Develop the overall changeover strategy in B132, including capturing learnings from initial changeovers and improving overall efficiency and changeover timelines.


Operational Support:

  • Provide other support as needed to Multiproduct Process Team Leader and TZP Readiness Team, including assistance with Ops Readiness activities and/or Multiproduct controls.
  • Participate in or drive initiatives or special projects within the Multiproduct process team.
  • Assist with RCA investigations into human error deviations.

Leadership Support:

  • Stand in for Process Team Leaders as a delegate where appropriate.
  • Participate in B132 Flow Team.
  • Assist with metrics tracking for process team and/or flow team.

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum B.S. in engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of applicable manufacturing-related experience, preferably some biosynthetic, fermentation, and/or purification operations experience.

Additional Preferences:

  • Demonstrated skills in project management and coordination.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences.
  • Ability to influence and network with multiple levels and functions of the organization.
  • Language: English

Additional Information:

  • No certifications required.
  • Tasks require entering manufacturing areas which require wearing appropriate PPE.
