Embroidery Machine Operator

SUMMARY:

The Embroidery Machine Operator is responsible for running the machines to create embroidered apparel. This position is an entry level position with heavy training. This individual will work primarily between two stations. This individual must be able to manage their own time, take direction effectively, function as a a team player, and have a high desire to learn and improve processes.

Hours: Monday through Thursday 4:00pm-2:00am

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure good quality on each item being embroidered (correct thread tension and backing used)
• Work efficiently
• Check for accurate order fulfillment (correct logo, size & thread colors; placement; correct apparel size/color, etc….)
• Function in a fast-paced environment
• Effective problem-solving skills
• iPad and computer skills a must
• Follow standard processes set for each task
• Manage time efficiently
• Meet goals for each process assigned
• Work with management professionally to maintain quality and efficiency
• Ensure that all waste is reported accurately
• Communicate with other departments to meet customers’ needs
• Accept and apply feedback given by management and peers

• $19/hour, depending on experience

JOB SKILLS:

• Must have great communication skills
• Must have knowledge of computers / iPad
• Must have high attention to detail
• Experience pulling orders and packaging them preferred, but not required
• Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Bilingual preferred
