The Role
Set within 100 acres of subtropical rainforest and landscaped gardens, Henry Kendall Gardens offers picturesque surroundings, quality facilities and a vibrant and supportive village environment, based in Wyoming, on the beautiful Central Coast.
We have a genuinely rewarding opportunity providing comfort and help for our residents when they need it most, for an Emergency Response Attendant to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. The successful candidate will be working closely with our Serviced Apartments team at Henry Kendall Gardens.
Duties will include responding to resident enquiries, overseeing our community facilities, conducting welfare checks on residents and referring them to our care consultant, assisting with our colourful village events, responding to call outs, undertaking first aid and initiating emergency services where required. Shifts will be a combination of afternoon/sleepover shifts.
About You
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, dependable and be dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. A professional and positive approach is required at all times to ensure that all residents’ needs are met. A background in either hospitality or aged care would be advantageous, as well as having the following:
  • A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • The ability to make critical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
  • Be motivated and able to take initiative
  • Basic computer skills

Please note: The successful applicant must complete a Police Check & will be required to receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of April-October. For selected roles more physical in nature such as this position, pre-employment medical assessments may also be required prior to any employment offers being made.
