Summary
EMS Instructor:
The position reports to the director of the IRHS. In this position, you will instruct programs in area of responsibility which include Emergency Medical Services, American Heart Association Courses, industrial response medical. Programs include, but are not limited to grant funded and specially contracted courses, as well as training programs at satellite locations. Instructor is expected to maintain all professional credentials required of the position. Instructor is required to serve as a classroom instructor for programs in area of responsibility. As the primary instructor for these programs, the instructor is required to perform all tasks associated with responsibilities in areas of class preparation, conduct, student attendance records, test development and proctoring, student advisement and evaluation. The instructor will be required to perform other tasks as required/requested in support of the Institute for Rural Health and Safety, the College of Health and Human Services and the University.

The work of this position occurs in a typical office environment. Although infrequent, periods of heavy exertion may occur. Incumbent must have the following abilities:
