Position Summary:
The Employee Data Specialist will maintain the accuracy of all employee data in the HRIS system. The Employee Data Specialist will serve as a resource for local Human Resources professionals and managers/supervisors regarding all employee data.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Complete data entry of confidential company data (e.g., companies, locations, supervisor hierarchy).
Assist with regularly-scheduled system audits to maintain consistency and accuracy of all employee data.
Point of contact for employees, IT Representatives, HR Representatives and managers/supervisors for questions and unresolved issues regarding employee data.
Assist in the completion of all employee data changes and ensure all required documentation is received.
Reconciliation of data between two HR systems of record.
Assist in processing of returned mail
Maintain employee records in an electronic filing system
Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
1 to 2 years’ experience in data entry
Knowledge of state and federal taxes
High level of attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills which include telephone communication
Good judgment, especially as it relates to requests for data from supervisors and managers, with a high degree of confidentiality
Proficient in Microsoft Office
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Associates Degree
1-2 years of experience working with Payroll
1-2 years of experience working with UltiPro
