Employee Data Specialist - RH

Position Summary:

The Employee Data Specialist will maintain the accuracy of all employee data in the HRIS system. The Employee Data Specialist will serve as a resource for local Human Resources professionals and managers/supervisors regarding all employee data.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Complete data entry of confidential company data (e.g., companies, locations, supervisor hierarchy).

  • Assist with regularly-scheduled system audits to maintain consistency and accuracy of all employee data.

  • Point of contact for employees, IT Representatives, HR Representatives and managers/supervisors for questions and unresolved issues regarding employee data.

  • Assist in the completion of all employee data changes and ensure all required documentation is received.

  • Reconciliation of data between two HR systems of record.

  • Assist in processing of returned mail

  • Maintain employee records in an electronic filing system

  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in data entry

  • Knowledge of state and federal taxes

  • High level of attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills which include telephone communication

  • Good judgment, especially as it relates to requests for data from supervisors and managers, with a high degree of confidentiality

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Associates Degree

  • 1-2 years of experience working with Payroll

  • 1-2 years of experience working with UltiPro

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a corporate setting
