ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Employee Experience Manager, you will play a critical role in building offering to support a connected and meaningful employee experience across our hybrid work environment. You will help Bluevine design, implement, and lead a curated employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. You'll support the end-to-end operations of the employee lifecycle of our US employees, while maintaining a culture of excellence and belonging through events, programming and activities. You will build and execute strategies by collaborating with our People Business Partners, and cross-functional partners, all to help further our mission & values.

This is not a fully remote role. At Bluevine, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, which we believe is best maintained through in-person interactions and a vibrant office environment. All of our offices have reopened in accordance with local guidelines, and follow a hybrid model.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Accountable for the delivery of a standardized efficient service for People lifecycle, calendar of events, as well as processes and initiatives to support delivery of the People strategy.
  • Lead all operational activity by building and maintaining key relationships across the business to ensure a great delivery experience
  • You strive for operational excellence while keeping the employee at the center.
  • Ideate, innovate and execute state of the art hybrid work model across our four office locations in the US
  • Become our subject matter expert when it comes to the employee life cycle experience for our employees, from items occurring within our HR systems to activities driven by partner teams and people leaders.
  • You understand the true meaning of inclusion and diversity and the importance this role plays in fostering employee retention and engagement.
  • You think creatively to build the feeling of belonging to our employee population, leaving no one behind. You'll ensure that you help Bluevine continue to hire and retain outstanding diverse talent.
  • You leverage data and metrics to continuously improve our approach, program, or process and to analyze impact.
  • You are open to experimenting; failing quickly, learning, and adapting with the goal of getting to better processes, strategies, and tools to optimize results.
  • You thrive in a changing environment, adept at navigating ambiguity and creating structure amidst the unknown.
  • Analyze People Metrics to monitor and proactively manage people related key performance indicators, and define strategies for improvement and management
  • Answer employee inquiries and suggest new initiatives that support employee engagement and experience
  • Champion employee experience, partnering with company leadership to foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture
  • Host virtual and physical company events and experiences
  • Support workplace programs and technology to improve how our employees work and collaborate with each other
  • Collaborate and with office operations staff across our US sites
  • Execute our employee events, including summer gatherings and holiday parties, amongst others
  • Galvanize and collaborate with local "culture teams" across sites

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Excellent program skills, written communication and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills
  • Proven Human Resources experience, preferably experience working in a global, multi-office organization. Experience in the technology sector is a plus.
  • Proven track record of developing, driving and delivering against plans.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership.
  • You're tech-savvy and have the basics down (GSuite)
  • 5+ years experience as an Employee Experience Manager, People Operations Manager or equivalent with a demonstrated track record of great results
  • Demonstrated ability to story-tell through data
  • Experience influencing, communicating, and presenting at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to develop effective operational strategies that are tailored to a hybrid, multi-office workforce
  • Experience working on more than one project and priority at a time
  • Open to travel periodically (15% of your time)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
