The Role
Focused heavily on administrative projects, the Employee Operations Specialist is crucial to keeping the infrastructure of the Communications team and the broader Palantir afloat by supporting both employee experience processes, as well as the employee experience programs and events. Attention to detail is critical in this role as you will be responsible for managing simultaneous requests and operations within a short period of time. Effective communication will also be required as you will be in close liaison with not only the team and business leads, but other operation teams within Palantir as well. Resourcefulness is a major plus!
Core Responsibilities
Employee request triaging & management, including managing a service desk and responding to requests; looping in appropriate parties; and overall maintenance of the request queue
Onsite support for employee experience programs and events in our offices and at offsite locations
Coordinate setup and breakdown of props and displays and other logistical tasks
Heavy calendaring of events that fall into the queue, in addition to booking meeting spaces across the globe
Assist with other operations requests and projects as needed, such as fielding emails, building out new processes, or improving upon existing ones

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience

Excellent computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Prior experience with using Jira, Asana or other project management software

Familiarity with event management software such as Splash
