The Sr Human Resources Business Partner is a strategic professional who works with senior leaders to facilitate human capital strategic plans in the areas of talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, diversity, change management and organizational performance. The data-driven professional will influence, communicate, and successfully work cross functionally to execute positive people outcomes. The Sr Human Resources Business Partner will champion Human Resources initiatives designed to enhance Empower’s associate experience.
What you will do
• Partner with the business and Human Resources Centers of Excellence to diagnose human resource implications of the organization’s strategy and formulate corresponding people plans
• Diagnose large scale organization effectiveness and team performance issues and partners with senior leaders and their leadership teams
• Coach senior management on enhancement of leadership skills and proactively identifies staff morale and engagement issues.
• Conduct senior leader onboarding and assimilation programs
• Partner with business leaders and Finance on regular workforce planning data management
• Facilitate annual talent and succession planning event; support annual calibration activities
• Partner with Employee Relations on high-profile, highly sensitive and/or complex employee relations matters.
• Partner with compensation on annual compensation events
• Strong results and process improvement orientation. Suggests change that has a positive impact. Anticipates and deals effectively with concerns or resistance to change.
• Support regular employee engagement survey by communicating results and partnering with senior leaders on developing measurable action plans.
What you will bring
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resource management or related field or equivalent level of experience, training and education.
• 10+ years HRBP experience or broad-based human resource experience
• PHR / SPHR certified a plus.
• Strong change management background and influential leader with experience working in a transformational environment.
• Demonstrated ability of being self-driven and strong problem solving skills
• Experience partnering with executive leadership in matrixed organizations preferred
• Ability to think strategically and analytically and operate tactically when required

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; proven record of successfully working in a consultative manner with every level of internal and external customer, including leaders and management.
• Strong influencing capability. Identifies the agendas, concerns, and motivations of others.
• Statistical data analysis in a business environment, particularly dealing with human capital data.
• Able to handle moderate level of travel when required.

Base Salary Range
$132,600.00 - $192,300.00
The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
