The Electronics and Support team provides technical support to enable design, development, and analysis on components, batteries, inverters, motors, engines, transmissions, and vehicles. We also support research and modeling for fuel mixing, combustion, filtration, and fluid flow analysis.
- An entry-level engineer to research, design, develop, and troubleshoot embedded control systems.

Meet project requirements by consulting staff and clients to determine, recommend, and plan solutions.

Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to meet project requirements.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing software and control systems.
- Collaborate with staff and clients to design, develop, and troubleshoot embedded control systems.

Develop, document, and execute testing routines or procedures to verify proper system operation.

Take and analyze data to research, troubleshoot, and design systems.

- Requires a Bachelors in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics is preferred

Related degrees in engineering appropriate when coupled with relevant on-the-job training and experience.

0-3 years: Embedded software development (C/C++/Verilog)

0-3 years: General computer skills (Office, etc.)

0-3 years: Basic electronics and instrumentation a plus (e.g. oscilloscopes/logic analyzers)

Work assignment is in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
