BioTechnique® is a highly potent sterile injectable and clinical oncolytics manufacturing company dedicated to providing cytotoxic and high potency sterile injectable fill-finish services. BioTechnique’s project management and client services staff work closely with our clients to meet all manufacturing needs. From IND applications through commercial scale production, we provide formulation and compounding, fill-finish, and optional lyophilization services for a wide variety of liquid injectables. BioTechnique utilizes our team’s expertise to work with our clients to create a process design for their product that suits their needs.

Your Role

Engineering Interns are required to work full-time during summer or academic break and continue the internship on-site in York, PA part-time during the academic semester.

  • Author and review documents developed by engineering teams, ensuring the documentation meets regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Initiate/update GxP and Risk Assessments.
  • Author, Review and/or approve scheduled periodic reviews.
  • Author, Initiate, and/or review and approve IT SOPs related to compliance.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and the information systems team to define needs and achievable solutions and/or justifications to system requirements.
  • Provide engineering support for maintenance and validation activities.
  • Translate system requirement specifications into executable protocols.
  • Provide support to executors of the protocols when needed.
  • Draft reports summarizing system functionality and qualification.
  • Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work.
  • Modeling both virtual and actual systems
  • File and organize engineering documents such as reports, maintenance manuals, building plans, and schematics.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Must be local to York, PA.
  • Interns are required to work full-time during summer or academic break and continue the internship on-site in York, PA part-time (8-10+ hours/week) during the academic semester.
  • Working towards a bachelors degree in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related degree from a 4-year University.
  • Must have strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must be adaptable, innovative, and have a positive attitude.
  • CAD experience is desirable.
  • Strong drive to learn.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • This role requires some flexibility for work hours.
