Engineering Manager

You'll be joining a small but growing team. As an engineering manager, you'll lead a team to drive impact across a significant portion of the product. We're looking for someone who is excited about helping our students, and our engineers grow and learn.

Learning Experience: Building a the best English-learning experience.
Matching: Connect students with the best tutor for their learning style.
Marketplace: Build a healthy marketplace, balancing the needs of our students and tutors.
Payments: Ensuring our students can subscribe to Cambly, anywhere in the world.

What we're looking for:

10+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years leading an engineering team
Experience working cross-functionally, especially with product managers
Experience with our tech stack (mongodb, flask/python, react/redux) or similar technologies

What you'll do on a day to day:

Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and product management to own the team’s vision and strategy.
Help set team goals and technical direction while ensuring that they align with the goals of the larger organization.
Build and foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture.
