What you will be doing

Preparing Customs entries for U.S Customs, DEA, FDA, USDA, CDC Fish and Wildlife, RLF and in bond etc. (hard copy and electronic)
Printing import documents to be utilized in Customs entries
Assisting brokers with paperwork
Billing entry and entering charges and Incoterms into TMS
Sending the required A1A documents to importers and preparing required WCB record keeping copies of entry documents
To keep current and understand all customer SOP
Must enter clear detailed notes in TMS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Working knowledge of the ABI system and entry process
Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and other WC offices (team player)
Communicate professionally via phone and email with clients regarding status of their shipments.
Pleasant personality, and professional demeanor, flexible with schedule as WC is a 24-hour operation
Overtime may be required
Clerks with a valid Certified Customs Specialist Certification (CCS) must obtain the required 20 points for renewal.
