At Terumo Cardiovascular, we develop, manufacture and distribute medical devices for cardiac and vascular surgery with an emphasis on cardiopulmonary bypass, intra-operative monitoring and vascular grafting. This includes a full-line of perfusion products, endoscopic vessel harvesting products and surgical stabilization products.

This position will support environmental, health and safety programs for Terumo Cardiovascular. Responsibilities include implementing and administering safety, environmental and health programs at the manufacturing facility.
1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2. Implement EHS programs that promote a positive safety culture.
3. Actively partner with production Associates and supervisors to ensure that policies are implemented and successfully supported.
4. Assist with environmental reporting and tracking of emissions, exposures, and waste as required.
5. Conduct audits to comply with regulations, identify best practices and pinpoint unsafe working conditions or behaviors; coordinate Industrial Hygiene audits and testing as necessary.
6. Assist in incident investigations to ensure effective investigations with root cause are completed.
7. Understand and work within the quality systems, following FDA and applicable international regulations as required.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requires a four-year degree in environmental science, safety, industrial engineering or equivalent and a minimum of four year of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in regulated industry preferred. Basic computer software skills, i.e., Microsoft Office.
