Financial Consultant Summer Internship

On location at our Wall Branch office.Days will consist of:• Educational meetings• Client strategy sessions and development• Outreach to setup meetings with new prospectsOutreach Duties:- You will be performing various methods of cold outreach, mainly through phone calls-Contact and schedule leads through various marketing strategies and techniques- Conduct outbound calls to potential clients to schedule appointments for the licensed advisors- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, appointments, and metrics- Collaborate with your assigned Advisor to ensure smooth handoff of leads and appointments- Follow up with potential clients to confirm appointments and address any questions or concerns- Meet or exceed monthly appointment generation targets.-**Must be driven, comfortable on phones, and able to set minimum 10 meetings each week**Skills:- **Ideally have prior experience with cold calling and scheduling introductory appointments**- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities- Ability to build rapport with potential clients over the phone- Good organizational skills and attention to detail- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel- Self-motivated and able to work independently, self accountabilityThis is a great opportunity for someone who has interest in creating a future in the financial industry, enjoys interacting with people, has a passion for business development and sales, and wants to contribute to helping change people's lives.
