The Analyst will work within Rabobank's Equity Private Placements team in New York which originates and executes private, minority capital offerings globally, with a focus on emerging growth companies across food & agribusiness.

You and Your Job:
As an Equity Private Placements Analyst you will be successful by coordinating closely with senior bankers to support transaction marketing, origination and execution. Responsibilities include deep dive research in foodtech and agtech sectors, financial modeling, transaction execution and preparation of marketing materials including confidential information memoranda.
Collaboration:
Work in team setting, discuss and consult with senior team members on projects and develop strategic solutions.
Take initiative in finding new, more efficient ways to work with regard to both origination and execution.
Organization:
Support team in the sector coverage responsibilities ensuring that databases and credentials are maintained and updated.
Provide assistance with further developing industry and sector knowledge.
Origination:
Support senior team members with preparation of marketing materials and client presentations with particular emphasis on attention to detail.
Take initiative for generating transaction and workflow ideas.
Execution:
Take responsibility for preparation of transaction materials for all group projects.
Initiate valuation analysis and related analytical aspects of transaction execution and analysis.
Lead preparation of marketing materials to and ensure quality control, accuracy and attention to detail.
Actively coach and teach interns on execution processes.
Ensure and safeguard the quality standards of execution.
Job Responsibilities:
The Analyst is involved in activities to support Rabobank’s senior bankers in deal origination, transaction execution and group marketing, including:
Supporting senior team members in day-to-day information flow with clients and third-parties in a transaction execution setting.
Preparation of financial models, projections, and transaction analyses, Confidential Information Memoranda, management and Board of Director presentations describing the company’s business and / or offering details.
Preparation of marketing materials, transaction highlights and investor profiles.
Evaluation of transaction comparables to determine profile and valuation considerations for companies in similar sectors.
Other financial analysis including assessments of potential investors or competitors for investment opportunities.
Coordination of due diligence and virtual data room information to be reviewed by potential investors.
Presentations to Rabobank’s senior management and Engagement Committees.
Assist in, and over time, lead development and maintenance of relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Collaborate with other business units within the Rabobank Group.
Adhere to transaction management process.

Salary Expectations:
Target Hiring Range: $95,000 - $135,000
This position is subject to the terms of [RAF/Rabobank/RDS]’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular position includes all other benefits provided to [RAF/Rabobank/RDS] employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
