Job Title: Scientist - II (Associate)Location: San Diego, CADuration: 12 months’Pay Rate: $35/hrResponsibilities:As a Research Scientist, you will play an important role in our growing team, supporting research needs as well as laboratory organization. This position offers a great opportunity to be a part of the early scientific team building different therapeutic modality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, ability to work efficiently and collaboratively, a desire to learn, and be adaptable to thrive in a dynamic team environment.Education:• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 years of academic or industry experience• Minimum 1-3yrs experience preferredRequired Skills• Contribute to lab administration and organization through ordering, managing inventory, preparation of buffers and reagents• Perform standard DNA-, and protein-based procedures such as plasmids prep, gel electrophoresis• Execute tissue culture-based experiments, including maintaining and transfecting mammalian cell lines• Support the execution of antibody production with the opportunity to learn antibody therapeutics.• Support the characterization antibodies biophysically.• Document work in a timely fashion in electronic lab notebookOptional Skills (preferred):• Mass spectrometry• AKTA-based purification• Cloning techniques
