Location: Bay AreaAbout EverChargeEverCharge is a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging devices and management systems and provides hardware and software EV charging solutions for fleets, multi-unit, and single-family homes. Our turnkey offerings are designed to utilize existing infrastructure to scale EV charging at the lowest cost. EverCharge’s load-balancing SmartPower technology maximizes the number of electric vehicles that can charge at once and eliminates barriers, such as data connectivity.Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, EverCharge operates a factory in Hayward, CA, which supplies EVSEs for its customers across North America.Our Construction EstimatorWill accurately detail site information for the purpose of designing, estimating, and keeping up-to-date mesh design to troubleshoot any site issues accurately. Make sure projects are estimated properly to stay within budget.Responsibilities:• Gain a deep understanding of EverCharge’s hardware, mesh network, smart power solutions, and site design implementation.• Accurately assess sites to determine available capacity for EV use and conduct onsite evaluations as needed.• Prepare detailed quotes, including comprehensive materials lists.• Maintain and update the materials cost matrix to reflect changes in pricing.• Take ownership of the site evaluation and estimating process, identifying areas for improvement.• Collaborate with management to expand and train new hires for the site evaluation/estimator role.• Partner with the Sales Engineering team to review installation methods and verify load calculations.Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Estimating• Advanced verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to present cost information to peers, management and customers.• Strong knowledge of electrical systems• Electrical engineering background• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)• Strong math comprehension• Knowledge of construction practices and materials• Strong problem-solving ability• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Job Title and Compensation:• The hourly range for this position is between $40.00 and $60.00, based on full-time employment.• Actual hourly ranges are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and work location.• Our open positions are based on job competencies that are specific to each role.
