We’re seeking a contract game mathematician to join us on a project-by-project basis and ensure the mathematical integrity of the original games we’re building in-house.

About the Role

As a Contract Game Mathematician, you’ll work closely with engineers and designers to validate, and fine-tune the mathematical models behind our real-money games. This includes verifying payout percentages and checking volatility curves. You'll help us simulate, optimize, and bulletproof our game logic — all while collaborating asynchronously with a fast-moving, fully remote team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate game math for custom slot and crash-style casino games
  • Simulate expected payout, volatility, hit frequency, and player win curves
  • Write and review math specifications and logic documentation
  • Provide technical analysis of probability models and expected return-to-player (RTP) behavior
  • Develop tools or scripts (Python preferred) for running Monte Carlo simulations
  • Recommend adjustments to balance game fairness, excitement, and profitability
  • Contribute to A/B testing logic and feature experiments when applicable

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with provably fair algorithms
  • Background in game theory, dynamical systems, or Monte Carlo simulations
  • Familiarity with game math compliance frameworks for Curacao or other jurisdictions
  • Experience working with gaming analytics tools or telemetry data

Why Join Us?

  • Work from anywhere in the world
  • Set your own hours and work at your own pace
  • Be part of a bold, experimental team redefining online gambling
  • Ship games that are fast, fresh, and fun — not stuck in corporate pipelines
  • Get early access to some of the most unique games in crypto gaming

  • Degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a similar quantitative field
  • Deep understanding of probability theory, combinatorics, and RTP modeling
  • Experience with real-money slot games and/or crash-style games
  • Fluency in Python (or similar scripting language) for simulations and payout calculations
  • Ability to interpret game design documents and transform them into mathematical logic
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document and explain complex math clearly
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously in a fully remote environment
