The EVP - Sales, will lead the strategic development and prospecting of all US linear and help drive the digital sales business. This EVP will also share responsibility with others in leadership for overseeing the development and monetization of all advertising opportunities across the Warner Bros. Discovery Network portfolio in both linear and digital environments. The EVP - Sales, drives the sales strategy across the Food, TLC, OWN, Cooking, TBS Entertainment, Cartoon Network, WB Syndication bundle team. This role needs to ensure Warner Bros. Discovery stays in front of the ever-changing industry and marketplace. The EVP will be responsible for motivating and leading a newly formed national sales team, establishing a role model of excellence, respectful management and high standards of ethical behavior.
Responsibilities

Drive advertising sales across the bundle by partnering and collaborating with Ad Sales management, AEs, Digital Sales, Integrated Ad Sales Marketing, and Pricing & Planning

Identify key sales opportunities by utilizing industry knowledge, relationships and ad sales experience as well as creative concepting abilities

Identify and activate data driven video monetization strategies/opportunities across traditional and digital

Present and position bundle team in the advertising marketplace

In partnership with the Pricing & Planning team, drive the sales efforts to maximize revenue and yield.

Cultivate relationships with network Presidents/leaders and key internal business partners

Foster and retain critical relationships with key agency and client executives

Strategically respond to marketplace demands by developing client solutions, from leveraging existing assets in strategic and bespoke ways to creating custom programs in conjunction with ASM and research and team management

Has a leadership role in development of core bundle sales strategic plan

Is responsible for reporting, forecasting, and achieving revenue projections associated with all pre and post sales activity

Promote strategic thinking around global opportunities

Proactively manage, develop, and motivate direct reports and team. Focus on positioning team for future success
Qualifications
-
Candidate must have 15+ years of related ad sales management experience.

Strong conceptual ideation and selling skills, and proven ability to position these deals against competing national entities, as well as other advertising vehicles.

Experience in concepting ideas and driving deals cross-platform

Must possess innovation to creatively execute company goals and directions.

10+ years of people management experience

BA degree or equivalent required

Must be able to travel regularly.
