Salary:
£26,396 to £32,348 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

This post is an exciting opportunity to join the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU). The unit designs and conducts high quality national and international multicentre trials across a range of health topics, collaborating with clinicians and academics within the University and local NHS trusts.

NCTU is a rapidly growing and we are seeking to recruit an Executive Assistant to work within our Unit Management Team.

The successful candidate will be a friendly, proactive and self-motivated individual, who is not fazed by constantly changing priorities and demands. You will have substantial administrative experience, excellent communication and people skills, as well as strong organisational skills. Your previous experience will enable you to provide professional, confidential and proactive administrative support to the NCTU Director, Deputy Director and Executive Committee members to support the execution of their responsibilities and the strategic aims of the School.

You will have experience of working in a busy office environment where customer service skills are paramount. You will have the ability to produce high-quality work in a demanding environment and to tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising and managing your own work whilst demonstrating flexibility to help other members of the team.

This position is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may be considered.
