Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead with a robust technical background to join our CIS-UK Collections & Tracing domain.

You will be #LI-hybrid based in Hyderabad and reporting to Director.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in C#, Python, React.JS, Single Page Applications (SPA), microservices, event-driven and orchestration design patterns, AWS Server less/Container-based services, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL technologies. In addition to technical proficiency, the Engineering Lead should embody a whole-team approach, excel in writing unit tests, contribute to test automation, and be well-versed in DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and mentor a team of 6-8 Developers and SDETs, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • You will promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.
  • You will design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions using .Net/Python, microservices/event-driven architecture, Docker, EKS/Serverless, SQL/NoSQL databases, and other relevant AWS technologies.
  • You will ensure high quality software delivery through best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • You will actively participate in sprints, contributing hands-on to software development and implementation.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and architectural solutions.
  • You will engage in team discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to maintain a whole-team approach.
  • You will maintain unit tests and contribute to test automation to ensure software reliability and maintainability.
  • You will stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide technical decisions.
  • You will work closely with Project Management and Agile Leads to deliver on project commitments and timelines.
  • You will manage risks and technical impediments, communicating with leadership to ensure project success.
  • You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • You will provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12+ years of experience in software development and engineering management with atleast 2+ years in people management.
  • Experience in handling Engineers direct reports with experience in Year End Appraisals.
  • Strong technical background in C#, Python, React.JS, SPA, microservices, event-driven and orchestration design patterns.
  • Proficiency in AWS Serverless/Container-based services, NoSQL, and PostgreSQL technologies.
  • Experience in Leading and mentoring diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive whole-team approach
  • Experience in writing unit tests and contributing to test automation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Ability to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Prior experience in the collections and tracing domain will be considered.
