Financial Controller

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.Duties• Manage and oversee daily financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledgers, cost accounting, revenue recognition and inventory accounting• Prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with SOX and regulatory reporting standards.• Develop and implement financial forecasting processes to guide business planning.• Utilize accounting software such as Sage to streamline financial processes and reporting.• Conduct thorough technical accounting analysis to support decision-making.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies.• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.• Strong knowledge of cash management practices and regulatory reporting requirements.• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage, is a plus.• Excellent financial report writing skills with attention to detail.• Ability to perform account analysis and provide actionable insights.• Strong analytical skills with a focus on technical accounting principles.• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:• 401(k)• 401(k) matching• Dental insurance• Health insurance• Life insurance• Paid time off• Vision insurancePhysical Setting:• OfficeSchedule:• 8 hour shift• Day shift• Monday to Friday• Weekends as neededSupplemental Pay:• Bonus opportunities• Commission pay• Overtime pay• Performance bonus• Yearly bonusWork Location: In person
