About the Role:

We are seeking a highly collaborative analytical  Product Designer to join our growing team. As a generalist with a strong research focus, you will work on complex product challenges while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams. You will leverage our established design system to create intuitive solutions that drive our product forward and play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience.

What you would be doing at Expressable (essential functions)
  • Lead user research initiatives and translate findings into actionable design solutions
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user flows, journey maps, and system diagrams
  • Design and prototype user interfaces using Figma/FigJam
  • Contribute to our evolving design system while ensuring consistent implementation
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Balance research insights with business requirements to deliver impactful solutions


What you bring to Expressable
  • Design Experience: At least three years of design experience. Healthcare experience is desirable, but not required
  • Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Figma/FigJam for both production work and prototyping, Demonstrated ability to work within established design systems, Strong documentation capabilities for complex user flows and system architectures, Experience creating and organizing both low and high-fidelity design files, and Solid understanding of accessibility standards and implementation.
  • Design Capabilities: Strong design judgment with exceptional attention to detail, Ability to recognize patterns and effectively, reuse components, and Experience translating research insights into concrete design solutions
