When you join us, you will gain unique experiences and valuable knowledge working across capabilities, sectors and geographies and have the opportunity to take your career in the direction you want.The opportunityAs a member of the HR Transformation team, you will join a talented group of professionals that help clients to integrate people, process and technology dimensions collectively to transform their HR function. We help our clients and their HR functions as they rebalance their priorities to make the most of a “new normal” and rethink their operating model to reflect this. This includes HR strategy and governance; change management and communication; organization and talent readiness; HR service delivery model and process; technology, data and analytics; and project and transformation management. We look to unlock human value by working with clients to convert their HR function, focusing on operating horizontally across the organization, accelerating digitally, prioritizing spend and enhancing value.Your key responsibilitiesIn this role, you will design and implement visionary HR strategies and solutions, drawing on industry-leading practices. You will manage engagements focused on improving the effectiveness of HR operations and services, oversee project delivery, budget implementation, and performance goals. Building and maintaining strong client relationships will be crucial for revenue generation and commercial success. You will lead managers across various activities, deeply analyze functions or specializations, and drive innovation and thought leadership. Additionally, you will identify sales opportunities and manage engagement economics, including resource planning and budgeting for engagements.• Identify and deliver upon HR transformation engagements of various sizes and complexity (domestic, international, phase zero through multi-phased deployments• Manage a team of experienced client servers to deliver upon engagement scope• Oversee service quality, provide subject matter expertise, grow and develop talent, manage client relationships and expectationsSkills and attributes for success• You’ll be expected to lead project workstreams, from planning through implementation – including managing project resources and budgets effectively, and identify and effectively manage and mitigate any risks and issues• Understanding of the Human Resources function, including strategy, process evaluation, process improvement and risk mediation, design of HR system delivery options and HR IT strategy• Understand the HR technology vendor ecosystem, strong familiarity in top HCM technology vendors is strongly preferred• Understanding of human resources opportunities, challenges and issues in at least one of the sectors we serve (e.g., Oil & Gas, Health, Telecommunications, Power & Utilities, Insurance, Media & Entertainment)• Demonstrate technical competence in our key capabilities and take a practical/business driven approach to solving complex client challenges• Contribute to the growth of the People Consulting practice by identifying additional engagement opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients• Influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for any major change initiatives and/or decisions• Generate profitable revenue through identifying additional opportunities for activities including but not limited to: post go-live system support, streamlining operating mode or process inefficiencies, etc.• Encourage and facilitate collaboration amongst team members, and promote an inclusive working environment• Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients• Advance the People Consulting practice by leading in the development of thought leadership and EY approach, tools and methodologies in HR TransformationTo qualify for the role, you must have• Relevant professional experience leading large-scale projects teams, including managing multiple workstreams, overseeing project deliverables, monitoring project risks or issues and managing project financials, with a global management consultancy firm, or niche consultancy in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)• Minimum ten years of related experience in HR Transformation, with a global management consultancy firm, or niche consultancy in which you gained exposure to a large-scale project(s)• Experience leading HR Transformation engagements in one or more of the following functional domains – supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing. Should have worked in large multi-disciplinary teams as part of functional and enterprise-wide transformation engagements• Proven track record in managing and analyzing large datasets and using analytics in project execution• Expertise in working with and engaging clients in discussions around the use of digital assets in the delivery of HR Transformation projects• Bachelor’s degree and relevant post-graduate qualification• Ability to travel regularlyIf you’re looking for a role that will challenge you, give you opportunities to grow and encourage you to own your career, this role is for you.Ideally, you’ll also have• A proven track record of building and managing client relationships, revenue generation, and managing commercial relationships.• Experience in sustainability and sector knowledge, which are increasingly important in our industry.• The ability to negotiate and influence effectively, leading teams to success.What we look forWe seek top performers with a strong leadership presence, strategic acumen, and the ability to navigate complex business relations and processes. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $144,400 to $329,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $173,200 to $374,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
