QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field

· Valid Texas Teacher Certification

· Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience

Preferred

· Master’s degree

· Some experience with Advanced Placement, Dual Credit, College Prep courses, and Scholars programming

·

Special Knowledge & Skills

· Demonstrated ability to use data for informing and implementing instruction

· Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing professional development

· Demonstrated leadership skills

· Knowledge of college entrance/readiness exams (PSAT 8/9, PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, ACT, and TSIA2)

· Knowledge of secondary and post-secondary academic programs

· Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively with others

· Ability to build relationships with students, staff, and parents

· Ability to organize and coordinate programs across campuses

· Ability to communicate effectively with audiences from multi-cultural and multi-ethnic backgrounds

· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

· Ability to implement policy and procedures

· Ability to function as a member of a high-performing team
