Our Olney, IL Distribution Center has a Facility Driver opening!

$17.50/hour to start with annual performance/merit increases, paid weekly! This position is scheduled to work Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime occasionally required.

How You'll Contribute:

The Facility Driver is responsible for safely driving the yard truck to transport empty and full trailers to and from dock doors. The Facility Driver will load and transport bikes and other product samples for various sales presentations which may include overnight travel. This position will operate forklifts and/or various equipment to load, unload, move, locate, stack and count merchandise. The Facility Driver will assist in managing inventory in and out of the Sample area computer systems and maintain product inventory and storage in accordance with expected standards.

Yard Driver duties:

Transports full and empty trailers to scheduled destination all over facility yard.
Performs and documents routine vehicle checks, using checklist provided.
Uses hand or power equipment to remove seals on containers.
Conducts daily count on full and empty trailers.
Performs limited mechanical work.
Maneuvers truck and trailer for loading and unloading safely.
Maintain truck by regularly cleaning, washing, and having it serviced.

Warehouse Equipment Operation duties:

Operates forklift with or without slip sheet, and other specified equipment in and around the warehouse.
Complete equipment maintenance checklists daily.
Load and unload shipments.
Transports product to and from dock/bay/locations.
Safe and efficient operation of the equipment.

Manual Product Handling:

Unloads product from container by hand.
Picks, pulls, and labels product for shipping.
Put away product in specified location.
Wrap product for transport to designated location, or shipping to customer.

Sample Driver duties:

Pack, load, unload, and secure samples in the company van for transport to and from designated locations.
Drive samples to designated domestic locations (travel that is up to 11 hours or more would include overnight accommodations).

What You Bring to the Table:

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Must eligible to obtain a valid U.S. Passport.
Ability to read and write numbers and letters.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers.
Valid Driver's License.
Must be forklift certified, or have experience operating a forklift.
Ability to operate power equipment.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
