Our passion and commitment to serving both rural America and each other is key to our success in the marketplace.FCSAmerica is seeking a VP Commmunications and Mission Enablement who will provide strategic and team leadership, program administration, and consultative services related to the functions of internal communications, community involvement, and meeting and event planning. Ensures models, practices, processes, methodologies, metrics, and tools are in place to support areas of responsibility. Builds strong relationships and collaborative partnerships within the Associations. Works across business units and functions to lead programs aligned to business objectives and strategic initiatives. Influences and leads change, and fosters a culture of data-driven decision-making and collaboration throughout the organization.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesInternal Communications• Oversee the development and implementation of internal communication strategies across multiple communication channels to ensure employee understanding of the Associations’ strategic priorities and direction, to provide information for employees to fulfill their responsibilities, and in support of the Associations' culture, employee experience and engagement.• Measure, assess, and report on the effectiveness of the Associations’ internal communications efforts.• Support the ongoing implementation of the organizational change management strategy through strategic communications.• Coordinate across the Associations to ensure a broad-based, holistic approach to change management communications.Community Involvement and Planning• Responsible for development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive strategies and programs to enhance the Associations’ community involvement including the establishment of relationships with key external stakeholders including, but not limited to charitable and community organizations and Farm Credit System institutions.• Responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Associations’ volunteering programs and related activities.• Oversight for the communication of the Associations’ community involvement budget and communications.Meetings and Events• Provide oversight leadership for the Associations event planning program, including scope and budget development, contract negotiations, event oversight, development of a repeatable process, best practice recommendations and invoice reconciliation for large scale Association events.Travel Time• Percentage of time required to travel during the day and/or overnight - 15%Education Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Public Affairs or Public Administration required.Years of Experience• 8+ years of experience including prior leadership experience in Internal communications strategy and execution in a large, geographically dispersed organization with at least five years of company-wide functional leadership.About UsFarm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica), AgCountry Farm Credit Services (AgCountry), and Frontier Farm Credit are financial cooperatives operating under joint management.
