Job Description

The Role

 

Fastmarkets requires a Site Reliability Engineer with great DevOps skills. To compliment an worldwide existing team we're looking for someone to help us modernise our Azure cloud platforms to a cloud native, containerised fully automated deployment pipelines. 
 
Reporting to the Head of SRE, the correct candidate will have experience in modernising Azure platforms, Infrastructure and code, as well as being comfortable in more traditional DevOps work. Over the next year we will reimagine our architecture and this is an opportunity to be in near the beginning of this next-gen project. We're looking for someone to join the team who will question why we do everything and look for the correct solution to the problems we face.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

  • Kubernetes 

  • Bash 

  • PowerShell 

  • Linux 

Desirable 

  • SQL Managed Instance 

  • Service fabric 

  • Azure cyber security experience 

  • Azure Active directory experience 

  • Team City 

  • Octopus Deploy
