If you join us, you’ll take a journey that matters.We’re hiring a Human Resources Business Partner!Our Interior Systems Division is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner for its manufacturing facility in Saline, MI.The role of the Human Resources Business Partner is to support in the day-to-day HR management, in accordance with the Group's human resources policies and procedures. The HR Business Partner(HRBP) participates in strategic planning to help the business meet present and future objectives. The HRBP adds value to the organization by providing guidance and expertise in the following key areas:You’ll work on challenges that matterThis job will require you toRecruiting• Recruit personally the key talents for their perimeter and ensure a thorough induction.• Identify short, medium and long term resourcing issues (Succession/Staffing Plans).• Build and maintain the local manpower plans and coordinate needs with the relevant agency (PIC/PDP).• Challenge managers on new roles, replacement strategy, job grading and bands etc.Performance Management• Provide support with the STAR Process• Actively identify performance and skill gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to mitigate risks• Act as the performance improvement driver and provoke positive changes in the people management process• Challenge the organizational structure and propose changesEmployee Development & Career Management• Lead Training Plan process, Success Planning activities, Individual Development Plans and facilitate the management team to bring the best solutions for employees• Design succession plans for key talents and key job positionsSocial Climate & Organizational Design• Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change in order to improve efficiency and people management allowing for flexibility and planned growth.• Build a strong business relationship with the management team• Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes• Proactively consult, influence and negotiate with Union Officials on local issues.• Proactively work with the relevant Union body with regard to the interpretation and renegotiation of the collective agreement (where appropriate). Build management responsibility and capability for managing issues and improving the effectiveness of the relationship between company and union.• Identify gaps in existing HR policies and contribute to the development of new HR policies and procedures. Consult and deliver new/amended policies and procedures into the business area.Others• Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.• Follow requirements established in Saline Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.• Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations.• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.• Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.• Follow requirements established in Saline Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.The ideal candidateTo succeed in this position, you will ideally have:• Bachelor's Degree required with a specialization in HR• A first experience in the HR function within an industrial environment• Familiar with HR Information systems as well as MS office• International mindset• Good interpersonal skills• Payroll experience, Union environment preferred but not required• Payroll maintenance and administrative tasks• Benefits experience• Recruitment experience• Onboarding experience• UAW/union experience preferred but not required• Confidence• Minimum of 5 years payroll & HR experienceWe believe people matterFaurecia is an equal opportunity employer.
