The Field Onboarding Specialist is a vital part of the Podium Field team. The Field Onboarding Specialist’s primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure the adoption of Podium to customers sold by the Field Sales team in their respective territories. This includes adoption of both payments hardware and phone systems, with an emphasis on product activation. This person will work closely with the Field AEs, Field Team Leads, inside implementation team and Support when necessary. They will be the liaison between Podium and the customer. The Field Onboarding Specialist will also support the AEs in product and usage expansion and drive referrals through providing an excellent customer experience. This role is face-to-face, meeting with customers in the greater DFW area.

What you will be doing:

  • Installation, onboarding and implementation of Podium Payment and Phone products onsite with customers
  • Ensure that card readers and payment onboarding is successful to drive the customer to full payments processing via Podium, including working with all necessary stakeholders
  • Ensure that phone onboarding enables customers to seamlessly transition from previous phone solutions to Podium for all communications
  • Regular in-person “check ins” to ensure early adoption and usage including a 7 and 30 day scheduled meeting after implementation
  • Monitor and report on adoption for the accounts in assigned territory
  • Provide training and best practices to help current customers realize value and increase customer lifetime value
  • Work with the AEs to help expand new product and feature adoption

What you should have:

  • 1+ Years of SDR, Sales or Account Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a customer facing role
  • High drive, work ethic, and coachable
  • College degree
  • Knowledge of Merchant Processing and/or the Telecom industry a plus
