GENERAL FUNCTION:
Cross-functional responsibility for analyzing credit applications and loan/lease files Indirect Lending to support underwriting, auditing, pricing, funding (Funding Analyst), securing collateral and booking. Responsible for analyzing and compiling information assure the accuracy of all documents, pricing, collateral, and booking for Indirect Auto Lending. Prepares and creates loan files for audit. Conducts document audits, validates data, and takes appropriate actions to reconcile document or file exceptions required for booking. Provide superior quality service to internal and external customers. Accept additional projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verification of consumer credit files for Indirect Lending, ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of the Consumer Lending Credit Policy has been met.
Performs verification of quality audits of all application system data, compilation of complete and accurate loan files that match application system, pipeline management, funding of loans, and reconciliation of pre-closing and post closing exceptions and or stipulations.
Performs verification and audit of all loan documentation, ensuring that compliance with the terms and conditions of all aspects of the credit approval has been met.
Maintains efficient processes in order to meet production goals and quality standards as set up by the Consumer Lending Processing Managers and/or Supervisors, to meet business objectives.
Anticipates, plans, and executes problem resolution for both internal and external customers.
Review exception reporting (Mobius or Business Objects) to ensure all tasks are completed.
Coach/train new or less experienced employees on various duties and responsibilities of the department.
Handles escalated issues for Operations, Credit or Sales Staff.
Assist with customer and dealership inquiries from internal and external customers in researching and resolving questions and/or issues related to processing and booking of a loan.
Responsible for researching and reporting on aged pipeline loans (Equity line/loan advances).
Reviews loan documentation for large or complex loans.
Perform various post closing tasks such as: Auditing closed files, creating delivery-servicing packages, follow-up to internal and external customers for needed documents and ensuring all required documents are present in file prior to shipping to Central Files.
Manages images of fax documents via servers and email.
Demonstrate professional quality customer service at all times during phones calls and/or e-mail communication exchanges.
Prepares and distributes quality performance reports, recommend process improvements and support implementation.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years consumer lending, banking, dealership, financial services experience.
Customer Service and Follow up skills with Financial Centers and Dealerships.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Flexibility to multi-task on numerous priorities.
Good mathematic ability and analytical skills.
Ability to interact with all levels of management and external customers.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong PC skills (MS Office) required, experience with programs such as Word, Excel and Access.
ACAPS knowledge preferred.
