Responsibilities
- Execute a cohesive and successful “Go-To-Market” solutions-based sales and marketing strategy.
- Develop and execute for sales growth strategies and action plans to meet near and long-term objectives.
- Build a strong business development pipeline
- Lead conversations with strategic prospect companies
- Lead client pitches and proposals. Identifying key channel partners, understanding 55's offers, quickly recognizing prospect's needs and strategically pooling all this knowledge into a well-articulated account plan with the help of the expert team. Lead the presentation.
- Attend relevant industry events. Set and meet specific quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Handle senior client communication, and nurture long-term relationships with our clients and technology partners (e.g. Google) to help accelerate deals and relationships.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide key market and sales insights.
- Actively contribute to marketing comms activities in collaboration with the marketing team
- Develop collaboration with our other offices for regional and global accounts coordination
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a proven sales professional with a successful track record.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting firms or digital/media agencies with solid client-facing and business development experience Ideally currently in a sales/account manager role with extensive client resources and relationship management experience.
- Deep understanding of China cross border e-commerce/export industry. Deep understanding of the typical demands of advertisers in this industry.
- Excellent written, visual and oral communication; fluency in storytelling and visual communications via slides and data visualization
- Exhibit awareness of best sales practices and methods.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and experience in developing new business relationships with large enterprises.
- Agile, adaptable, able to cope with uncertainty, unpredictability & change, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Ability to simplify complex problems - across processes, data, architecture, and systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced team environment.
- Self-driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with networking and speaking opportunities
- Native Chinese speaker and business-level proficiency in English
- Solid experience in business development in an international context with both business and technology stakeholders
