Seeking a motivated Filler Operator to join our team. The Filling Machine Operator is responsible for the operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance of the aseptic filling machines. The Filling Machine Operator is also responsible for online quality control in the form of package integrity checks and making necessary adjustments to machine controls to ensure that packages are perfectly formed, filled, and sealed. The Filling Machine operator ensures that filling equipment, tools, supplies, and work areas are maintained according to applicable GMP standards. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

  • Starting hourly pay of $19+ (with a $3 night shift differential) depending on skill

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:
  • Operation, cleaning, and routine maintenance of each aseptic filling machine type (A3 Flex, A3 Compact Flex, Bag-in-Box) and associated equipment according to the operator’s manual(s).
  • Execution of package integrity testing for all package types produced in the plant (1000ml Slim, 250ml Prisma, Bag-in-Box).
  • Documentation of all pertinent operational parameters, material utilization information (lot#’s, quantities, etc.), fill weight data, machine events, daily and weekly care, etc. on the appropriate forms. Documentation includes electronic data collection (PLMS) for machines so equipped.
  • General support of plant production and quality as assigned by plant leadership.
  • Basic troubleshooting of common filling machine faults.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School graduate or equivalent required.
Skills:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
  • Have basic math, computer, and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and the ability to kneel, bend over, squat, stoop, and carry.
  • Excellent attention to detail, neatness, and follow through.
  • Ability to organize and plan ahead to maximize job efficiency.
