Summary
This position will help handle the day-to-day accounting and finance functions specializing in the Revenue Center of Excellence, Commissions calculations and Budget-to-Actual monthly variance analysis and department reporting. In addition, you will learn our information systems and various reporting tools to assist with development of reports utilized by management and operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Client Success, Sales, Implementation, Legal and Technical teams to accurately gather information needed to bill clients correctly and timely.
• Maintain relevant files associated with billing schedules, membership, revenue recognition.
• Prepare monthly invoices for clients.
• Work with Senior Finance Manager to maintain and reconcile monthly deferred revenue accounts.
• Participate in maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring quality controls over revenue transactions and reporting.
• Assist with Budget-to-Actual monthly variance analysis and Department reporting.
• Help prepare data and other support information requests as needed for audits and reviews conducted by external auditors.
• Assist with Commissions calculations.
• Present relevant information to various internal staff regarding clients such as revenue, membership, AR collections and cash.
• Reconcile billing issues and maintain client accounts.
• Contacting customers who owe money to the company and following up with delinquent customers and working with senior management to facilitate payment plans as necessary.
• Prepare and analyze monthly DSO Analysis for senior management.
• Assist with other Finance reporting needs within the organization.

Required Experience / Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting, business and/or finance related field required.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure by efficiently prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet performance expectations and deadlines.
• Superior customer service skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train and/or present to all levels of an organization both in small and large groups.
• Possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated and team oriented.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Maintain a professional, businesslike image to clients, visitors, internal staff, and the public.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
