Financial Analyst I

Overview:
Under direction of Sr. Analysts or FP&A leaders, this role will provide financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting support to Business Unit or sub-business unit leaders as assigned. Analyze consolidated actual results vs. forecast, plan, and prior year benchmarks. Create templates and processes for data gathering, tracking, and translation/submission to financial reporting systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Monthly Forecasting / Actual reporting for RCDC expense
  • Work with operations leaders to educate, inform, and learn topics relating to financial status of all expense items
  • Timely completion of expense forecasts in advance of monthly deadlines
  • Monthly budget variance analysis and commentary including research and investigation on all relevant expense items
  • Detailed management of all headcount related cost including requisition tracking and related financial impact
  • Annual budget process and alignment with business partners on strategic plans and capacity required to deliver revenue goals
  • Investment committee financial analysis and process leadership including ROI analysis
  • Ad-Hoc projects and analysis
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan. Required
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned. Required

Qualifications:
  • BS degree in accounting, finance, operations or similar field of study
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, operations or similar field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • MS Office experience required, specifically, strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with financial & BI tools, a plus (specifically Netsuite/Adaptive/Tableau/SQL)
  • Proactive problem solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects

Base compensation ranges from $61,500 to $75,000. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.”
