FINANCE – NEW YORK
COTY is looking for smart employees who are tenacious, passionate, and fearlessly kind.
In an effort to reinforce the business we seek a Corporate Financial Analyst on a part time basis for an 11-month contract, to assist our team with various external reporting analyses as well as closing tasks. Role has the potential to lead to a full time offer on graduation.
This role will report into the Manager – Group reporting & controlling.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be responsible for:
Assisting in the monthly global financial consolidation process and review consolidated financial statements, including analysis of results and resolutions of differences and/or inquiries.
Creating and monitoring purchase orders/payment requests for vendors.
Prepare reports on financial data to governmental organizations (such as CENSUS)
Perform quarterly analytical review of consolidated results. Work closely with local finance personnel and external auditors on key drivers of financial fluctuations.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual disclosures for the 10-Q and 10-K
Perform administrative tasks to support the team.
Assist with the completion of ad-hoc requests made by senior management.
Part time role – expected weekly hours is 10 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS
We’d love to see candidates who have:
1 year of post high school accounting training or 1 year of experience performing accounting
Analytical accounting skills and flexibility.
Good understanding of using Excel for analysis
Technology skills, including PC and Web-based applications.

Base Salary Range: $20 – $25/hour
