Behavioral Technician

Location: Montgomeryville and surrounding areas (STRIVE Clinic, preschools)

Status: Full-Time-Monday through Friday 8-6:00 and Part-Time Openings-Tuesday/Thursday 8-6:00

First Children Services is currently seeking a Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to join our team! We proudly supported our focus on education in a new partnership with Capella University, where our employees can take advantage of free CEUs and certificates.

We are a family-owned, family-operated, and family-focused organization. Our STRIVE Autism Center is a multi-site, behavioral health and ABA center. Day to Day primary functions: 

  • Work 1:1 with client in independent and group settings
  • Read and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collect session data and submit documentation in a timely manner
  • Support healthy communication, social and behavioral skills
  • Provide interactive therapeutic support to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors 
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes

What we require from you: 

  • Minimum of a high school diploma and willingness to complete the RBT curriculum and get certified
  • 1 year minimum of working with children 
  • 1 year of working in a direct care human services profession preferred but not required 
  • Comfortable with using technology for daily documentation 
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills 
  • Willingness to accept and implement feedback 
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and run during shift
