Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer. This role requires a detail-oriented person with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the internal team, managed service providers and engage with other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in taking forward key priorities on the 2025 technology roadmap planned for Q1 2025 and requires expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune + Autopilot and Entra ID.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

·         Implement and manage Windows Autopilot for device deployment and configuration.

·         Be the technical expert on the Teams Telephony project.

·         Support the introduction and implementation of ITSM solution core functionality (service desk, service request and asset management).

·         Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services, ensuring optimal performance and security.

·         Oversee Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) to manage user identities and access.

·         Implement/facilitate the rollout other systems as required.

·         Provide third-line support for IT issues working with staff, IT providers and other third parties.

·         Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.

·         Provide technical expertise to support wider business projects as required.

·         Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.

·         Work closely with other IT team members to ensure cohesive and efficient operations.

·         Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their IT needs.

·         Provide training and support to end-users on system functionalities and best practices.

·         Supporting additional work as reasonably required by management from time to time. This list is not exhaustive.

Qualifications and skills:

Essential:

·         Proven experience in managing Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and Autopilot.

·         Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Effective communicator with excellent people skills.

·         Confident and professional in dealing with clients and colleagues.

·         Strong organisational, problem solving and time management skills.

Desirable:

·         Relevant certifications or qualifications.

·         Experience in a similar role within a medium to large organization.

·         Knowledge of other Microsoft technologies and services and familiarity with ITSM systems.

·         Experience of apprenticeship standards and programmes.

·         Experience of the accountancy and finance sector.
