Account Executive - Healthcare and Insurance

What does a successful Account Executive do at Fiserv?

As an Account Executive for the Healthcare and Insurance portfolio, you will build strategic relationships with senior leaders to acquire new Healthcare Payors, Benefit Administrators, Providers and Property & Casual Insurance clients across Fiserv products and solution offerings. Your success will be driven by a consistent track record of opening new accounts, driving complex solutions sale and achieving revenue growth. You will excel in aligning the prospect’s vision and requirements with our solutions to deliver differentiated customer value.

What you will do:        

  • Drive sales; build pipeline to achieve sales quotas and line of business sales objectives, revenue, decrease the overall spend, drive digital transformation with payments, core financial systems, data analytics
  • Deliver product solutions sales for Healthcare and Property & Casual Insurance and achieve sales quota.
  • Collaborate with key stake holders including clients, C-Suite executives, Finance, Treasury, HR, Security, Fraud, IT, and other business units.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, articulating the Fiserv value proposition and managing multiple opportunities through various sales stages.
  • Create detailed client proposals that include solutions, financial justifications, growth plans, budgets, project timelines, and expected results to maximize revenue and margin.
  • Develop account plans for key clients and cross-sale opportunities; negotiate pricing and contracts while collaborating with relationship management.
  • Travel 60% of time.

What you will need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate sales or business development with proven track record of performance against quota.
  • 6+ years of experience of new business generation and solution selling, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, challenges, trends, and operations.
  • Experience meeting client needs in a virtual team setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of work, education, and military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Track record in Healthcare and Property and Casualty Insurance sales to large accounts, with a fundamental understanding of solution selling.
  • Familiarity with Fiserv and former First Data products and services including the Expert Selling Force Management framework.
  • MBA

The successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.

Salary Range

$59,500.00 - $126,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ. Certain Positions are Commissions eligible.
