Fleet and Field Specialist

The Fleet and Field Specialist is a motivated, goal-oriented, results-driven person who has a high level of integrity and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will perform a range of franchise field support duties including:

• Inspecting, diagnosing, and managing repairs for company vehicles, systems and tools

• Assisting with procurement of parts, equipment and tools for franchise

• Providing support to field technicians including transportation of equipment, products, and vans

• Driving operational efficiencies through on-going communication with team

A little more about the role

• Manages scheduled and non-scheduled work for equipment and van repairs
• Assists General Manager with shop duties and cleanliness
• Assists with inventory procedures including recording and stocking
• Assists technicians with completing daily vehicle checks and reporting of issues
• Performs tests on products and tools, documents, and ensures adherence to standards

• Possess the ability to think strategically and execute against day-to-day objectives with particular attention to the details
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
• Experience working with tools and small equipment
• Able to partner with team to improve and enhance the overall van maintenance process
• Interested in continuous learning, working on and figuring out how things work
