The opportunity: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Client Engagement Manager to join our team at Flexport. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the retention and satisfaction of merchants utilizing Flexport's fulfillment services. The Fulfillment Account Manager will play a crucial role in fostering strong client relationships, driving product and service adoption, and identifying opportunities for growth within the client's fulfillment business.

You will:

  • Client Relationship Management: 
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with assigned merchants.
    • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing timely solutions.
  • Retention and Growth:
    • Develop strategies to retain and expand the fulfillment business with existing clients.
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and align Flexport's products and services to meet those objectives.
  • Product and Service Adoption:
    • Educate clients on the full suite of Flexport's products and services.
    • Drive adoption of new features and offerings that enhance the client's fulfillment operations.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams to address any operational challenges and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to coordinate and deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
    • Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs, industry trends, and competitive insights.

You should have:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.
