This position is considered US Remote; candidates must reside within the continental US. If you are located within 25 miles of a branch office, the position location will be considered Hybrid. 
The salary range for this position is $110-130k/year.
 
Position Summary
This role is responsible for managing financial systems and related data including maintenance of the Workday Adaptive Planning system, ensuring its optimal performance and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires independent discretion and the ability to think in terms of modeling and global visibility. This role demands a keen understanding of financial planning and analysis, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.  
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Oversee the daily operations of the Workday Adaptive Planning system, ensuring its stability, reliability, and security. Address system issues as needed including mapping accounts accurately when system errors occur.
  • Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the system to meet the specific needs of the organization, including creating and managing models, dashboards, and reports.
  • User Support and Training: Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, helping them to effectively utilize the system and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data within the system, performing regular data audits and reconciliations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, IT, and other departments to understand their needs and to ensure the system supports their objectives.
  • Integrations: Managing connection with ERP for all future integrations including underlying G/L query to ensure accuracy of revenue and expense accounts.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years of experience administering the Workday Adaptive Planning system.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning, including configuration, customization, and troubleshooting. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with other financial planning tools are a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-Oriented: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues across the organization. 
  • Travel as needed 5% for company/team meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Workday Adaptive Planning Certification.
  • Project management experience, particularly in implementing or upgrading financial systems.
  • SQL and SQL Server experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to work hybrid work model near a FTG office location.
