Bell Piney Flats is actively searching for an exceptional candidate to join its Aeronautical Accessories Logistics Team in Fall 2023 through their high school's Work Based Learning program. This individual will earn a paycheck while earning school credit. The position will work approximately 10-15 hours per week (Monday – Thursday) on a set schedule.

Logistics Student Worker Responsibilities:

• Fill, pack, wrap, protect, consolidate, and arrange orders according to instructions
• Safely operate various warehouse equipment in order to assist with moving product
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks
• Assist with cycle counts
• Issue materials to work orders and for interbranch transfers (IBTs)
• Record entry of finished products for corresponding warehouse
• May deliver material to shop floor
• Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE

Logistics Position requirements:

• Must be a current high school student, and must meet all the eligibility requirements to be part of own high school's Work Based Learning (WBL) program, including attendance requirements, GPA requirements, and completed courses, etc.
• Interest in a Logistics, Manufacturing, or Aviation career path
• Integrity and reliability
• Willingness to learn, self-motivate, and develop real skills that can be applied to future opportunities
• Detail oriented
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
• Commitment to working approximately 10-15 hours per week on a set schedule. Schedule may be during the school day or after school hours

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to kneel, squat, stand, sit, and carry throughout the day
• Ability to be on feet up to duration of shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to operate computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and software related to job duties
• Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycles (applicable to teams that support AA Manufacturing operations)
• Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) required for tasks
