As Analyst, Strategy and Analytics, you will create, own, and leverage a variety of data sources to develop analytics, dashboards, visualization tools, and corporate strategies to help drive critical business decisions and strategies across the revenue organization and Flock as a whole.
The ideal candidate would be someone who thrives in the space between strategy and data. This role is equal parts management consultant and data analyst.
BS/MS in a technical field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related field, or equivalent industry experience
SQL skills (with a proven track record of data analytics centric roles)
Strong business acumen and business strategy fundamentals
Experience building financial models
Ability to communicate and drive for solutions to complex and abstract problems
Effectively communicate and seek to understand and be understood
Experience with Salesforce is a plus

The First 30 Days
This period focuses on understanding the company's data structure, GTM model, and key reporting tools. You'll familiarize yourself with existing dashboards and financial models and begin building new ones to analyze performance and trends.
The First 60 Days
The focus shifts to optimizing queries, improving data efficiency, and building a live dashboard for long-term planning visibility. By this point, you'll be actively contributing to core analyses and undertaking ad-hoc projects.
90 Days & Beyond
You will be fully integrated into the planning cycles, automating key reports, and ensuring data quality across systems. You will be directly owning key end of quarter workstreams such as variable compensation evaluations and OKR/Target setting. At this stage, you'll be providing data-driven insights to influence the strategic direction of Flock.

Our First Chat: During this first conversation, you’ll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background, what you could bring to Flock, what you are looking for in your next role, and who we are.
The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role, the team, expectations, and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.
The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions, sales roles may present mock discovery calls, and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.
The Panel: Learn more about the team, responsibilities, and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects, how you collaborate and communicate with others, and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for, you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.
The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $105,000- $135,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options.
