The Opportunity
Flock Safety is seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and experienced Product Manager to join the Business Systems team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams under the Operations umbrella to identify opportunities for system improvements, prioritize projects, and ensure seamless delivery of enhancements. You will be the bridge between our Operations teams and the Salesforce Engineering team, driving initiatives that streamline processes, reduce operational bottlenecks, and enhance overall productivity. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our forward-looking Salesforce roadmap and contribute to Flock’s overall growth and success.
Conduct interviews and feedback sessions with Operations team members to understand their needs and gather feedback on current state
Act as the primary point of contact for Operations projects for the Salesforce team, ensuring clear communication and alignment with all stakeholders.
Analyze data to identify gaps in our current systems or processes and propose new projects to improve them
Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap that aligns with company goals and Operations team needs
Write detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) that outline project objectives, features, and functionality
Work closely with the Salesforce Business Analyst and SFDC Engineering team to write user stories, groom requirements, and plan work within our bi-weekly sprint cadence
Assist with training, support, and troubleshooting for internal system users
Foster a culture of continuous feedback and iteration to ensure systems evolve with the needs of the business
The Skillset
4+ years of experience in Product Management or a similar role
Great interpersonal and communication skills (both written & verbal)
Be excited about working on a fast-paced, constantly evolving product
Have an ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Ability to interface confidently with executives, as well as development teams
Familiarity with agile methodologies & project management tools such as JIRA and Asana
Previous experience with Salesforce preferred
Experience in a startup environment preferred
Experience with ERP systems preferred
Knowledge of operations and logistics processes preferred

The First 30 Days
Familiarize yourself with the company, team, and internal systems.
Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand their pain points.
Identify at least one enhancement idea and work with the SFDC Engineering team to implement
The First 60 Days
Take ownership of an Operations project and hold discovery sessions to understand current process and pain points
Begin a Products Requirement Document, outlining requirements and desired future state for the project
Propose and submit at least one new initiative/project idea through the SFDC intake form for prioritization in a future quarter
90 Days & Beyond
Lead execution and delivery of initial Operations projects
Establish continuous improvement processes and feedback loops
Measure and report on project outcomes and system improvements delivered
Propose updates to the Operations roadmap & contribute to quarterly planning activities

The Executive Review: A chance to meet an executive and view Flock from a different lens. Be prepared to ask well-thought-out questions about the company, culture, and more.
💰Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $130,000-$150,000 as well as stock options
