About the role:

Flossy is seeking a Director-level Sales leader to build and lead a team that drives sustainable provider growth as we expand. The ideal candidate has experience in an early-stage startup environment, architecting a sales strategy, and building and executing upon the blueprint for geographic expansion. This team member will be responsible for selling into existing and new markets, hiring and coaching a high-performing team, and engaging in negotiations with top tier dentists and practices. Key Responsibilities:


  • Owning all aspects of the company's supply-side sales strategy to set and meet aggressive sales targets
  • Leading, coaching and managing a team of SDR’s and AEs
  • Iterating on processes, reviewing key metrics, optimizing from and driving sustainable improvements 
  • Setting the standard for your team's tenacious work ethic, staying close to the work, helping close large deals, and more generally, leading by example
  • Operating with versatility and adaptability to tailor bespoke sales processes for a range of targets from sole practitioners to small practices to large DSO's (Dental Service Organizations)
  • Interfacing collaboratively with engineering, product, customer service and marketing departments to achieve company-wide goals
  • Commitment to cultivating an inclusive environment where all employees feel comfortable, supported in their jobs, and equipped with the tools and support necessary to perform at peak levels


Skills and Qualifications:


  • At least 3-5 years of relevant sales leadership experience 
  • A proven track record of building and leading teams that hit and exceed targets 
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adjust strategies based on market changes and business goals
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • A desire to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions and drive recommendations
  • Prior experience in a two-sided marketplace is a plus
  • Experience in dental or lead generation is a plus
