ABOUT THIS POSITION
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office) in Arlington, VA
Fluence is seeking an intern to work with the Americas New Customer Solutions team. This role will directly create value for Fluence customers via deployment of new digital technologies into operating sites in the Americas region. These technologies aim to improve key operational metrics in the young and rapidly growing stationary storage industry. This is a significant role in a young, dynamic group inside Fluence with opportunity for high individual contribution and impact.
As a New Customer Solutions Intern, you will:
•Work with Fluence’s extensive fleet operating data, covering multiple GWhs and a decade in operation.
•Create and maintain data pipeline architecture.
•Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
•Build analytics that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights.
•Create scripts for both data pipeline functions (ETL, data cleaning) as well as Linux and cloud operations.
•Implement new digital technology solutions at operating sites, in concert with Fluence senior engineers and servicing team.
•Work with senior Fluence technologists to establish processes and norms by which new technologies are deployed and evaluated.
