Football Analyst

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Minimum one year of successful intercollegiate football administrative and/or playing experience at the NCAA Division I level;
• Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships;
• Minimum of one year of experience utilizing office productivity software and online database systems (please specify) and visual presentation software such as Visio™ or equivalent;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; as demonstrated by prior research and analytics experiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated team environment:
• A valid U.S. driving license and the ability to meet and maintain University of Iowa Driving Policy standards.

Desired qualifications:

• Minimum one year of successful intercollegiate football administrative and/or playing experience at the NCAA Power 5 level;
• Demonstrated proficiency and ability to:
  • Utilize video analysis system such as HUDL™, DVSport, XO’s, or equivalent.
  • Comply with N.C.A.A. rules and regulations.
  • Maintain productive and long term relationships with staff, prospects, and high school coaches.
  • Utilize football performance analytics systems (i.e., Championship Analytics, Pro Football Focus-PFF).
